Mary Lou was an avid sports fan, something that came with the territory of raising two sons. Jeopardy has also lost one of its most dedicated viewers, a devotion Mary Lou maintained after being a 3-day contestant on the show in New York in 1968. Mary Lou was passionately devoted to her family and extended family, particularly her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary Lou is survived by her two sons Joe (Dee) of East Meadow, NY and Chris (Kristy) of Raleigh, NC, grandchildren Nora Blake of Brooklyn, NY, Dan Nevins of New Berlin NY, Tim Nevins of East Meadow NY, Lauren Newman (James) of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Kelly Hobson (Hunter) of Raleigh, NC, and great grandchildren Gard Hobson, Blake Newman and Maxine Hobson.
